March 17, 2020

Dear saints,

The leading brothers of the church in Toronto have been carefully monitoring the developments
concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19). During this time our responsibility is to pray and stand for the
Lord’s interests (Eph. 6:10-20), to watchfully shepherd the flock of God (Acts 20:28), to love our
neighbours as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and to cooperate with the governmental authorities (Romans
13:1).

In light of the continued spread of the virus and the increased vigilance that is being recommended by
health care experts and the government (especially for the next 2 weeks), we feel that it is necessary
to modify our regular church meetings. This is to ensure the health and safety of all saints, as well as
to take care of our civic responsibilities to do our part to curb the spread of this virus. Therefore, all
meetings will take place online/via conference calls starting today, March 17th, for the next 4 weeks
until April 12th. These include the following:

Lord’s Table Meeting – Will be conducted online or via conference calls by districts. The district
brothers are being notified and all arrangements and fellowship on how to conduct the meetings
online will be coordinated by the district brothers.

Prayer Meeting – Will be conducted online or via conference calls.

Watchman Prayer – Will be conducted online or via conference calls.

Children’s Meeting – Will be cancelled. We encourage parents to use this time to have family
meetings with their children – to sing, read the word, and pray.

Young People and College Meetings – In-person meetings are cancelled. Please contact your
serving ones for further instructions.

Crucial Truths – Will be conducted online or via conference calls. Please contact your serving ones
for further instructions.

All other personal visitations and spiritual pursuits conducted in the homes will be at the discretion of
the saints. However, please follow all recommendations by health practitioners and by the
government (municipal, provincial and federal) when doing so.
We encourage all saints to utilize the available technological means to encourage, exhort and to
minister life to one another. In this way, we are not abandoning our assembling together (Heb.
10:24-25).

Please check your emails or the church newsletter on our website frequently for any updates. Let us
give ourselves to persevere in prayer (Col. 4:2), to set our mind on things which are above (Col. 3:2),
and to join ourselves to the Lord in His heavenly ministry; He is interceding as our High Priest, He is
ministering as the heavenly Minister, and He is executing God’s administration.

Standing firmly in the Lord,
The elders of the church in Toronto
